Why Is My Baby Fussy and Miserable!

WHAT IS COLIC?

Colic is a syndrome of symptoms that can include: crying, cramping, moaning, groaning, pushing, straining, reflux, restless sleep, feeding difficulties, abdominal bloating, muscle tension and body stiffness.

The result is a fussy and unhappy baby. Symptoms could be mild and manifest as simple fussiness or severe, resulting in real pain and inconsolable crying.

CAUSES OF COLIC

Classic colic is due to trapped gas or wind somewhere in the digestive tract. But symptoms overlap with a number of other newborn issues and it is important to try and establish the most likely cause of your babies symptoms.

TREATMENT FOR COLIC

Gassy colic symptoms improve when gas and wind escape, either out the top or bottom. Best results come from natural burping and deep abdominal massage techniques. Gripe water and remedies can bring short term symptomatic relief but don't address the cause. Other causes of symptoms are addressed differently.

Our Masterclass program teaches you a step by step, practical and evidence based program to help the crying and pain caused by colic. Starting with diagnostic assistance and then guiding you to the best natural techniques and most appropriate meds for the different causes.
